The Marshall County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously at their Oct. 20 meeting to approve a series of utility permits, road-related contracts and administrative items, and to ratify a county grant agreement. Commissioners also tabled three permit requests from Brightspeed until the company returns requested information.
Among the approvals, the board granted Comcast multiple permits for directional bores and new cable installations at several addresses (including 7922 Tulip Road, 7372 [address repeated in record], 8625 Rose Road and a 1,300-foot bore along 6 B Road east of Underwood in Pope Township). The board approved two Tsunami ProServe LLC permits for MediaCom drop service (South Shore Drive to Venetian Village at 878 South Shore Drive and 2160 East Shore Drive).
