Board authorizes execution of timber-sale contracts from April auction

The Josephine County Board of Commissioners approved execution of two timber-related contracts sold at public auction in April and authorized the forestry director to sign the agreements.

County forestry staff described two separate documents: a timber-sale contract for the Jump Off Joe sale awarded to Estra Model Logging Inc., and a separate logging contract with Greg Lyle under which the contractor will harvest timber on county-controlled ground.
