Tigard council unanimously approves Brent Stockwell as city manager

Council President Christian Wolf and several councilors welcomed Stockwell; Councilor Hill said he was "most excited about his previous commitment to being present and engage with his community," and Councilor Schmack called him "very impressive throughout the entire process."
Brent Stockwell told the council he was "honored by the trust that you're placing in me" and said he focuses "on collaborating with communities, building strong relationships, responding to needs, and getting results." He said he expects to join the Tigard team in June.
Councilor Roberts moved to accept the proposed employment contract; Council President Christian Wolf seconded the motion. The city recorder conducted a roll-call vote and the motion was adopted by unanimous vote of the council.
