Consent calendar approved unanimously; council clears five routine items

The Town of Truckee Council unanimously approved the consent calendar at the April 22 meeting. The five consent items approved without public pull or extended discussion were: the April 8 council meeting minutes; the Nevada County Transportation Commission fiscal year overall work program; the existing building decarbonization roadmap; the 2025 Truckee Dirt Trail Grant awards; and an update to the Truckee Police Department policy 709 to comply with recently enacted state legislation (AB 481).
Staff presented the recommendations for each item and no council members or members of the public requested any item be removed from the consent calendar. The motion to pass the consent calendar carried on a unanimous vote: Mayor Zabriskie, Vice Mayor Klostok, Council Member Romack, Council Member Henderson and Council Member Polavie voted in favor.
Ending: Each consent item will proceed as recommended in the staff reports; council will consider associated implementation steps and any funding allocations linked to those items in subsequent budget or project reports.
