Radon testing at Jefferson and WK shows levels below EPA action threshold, district reports

Staff also said the district will file the required report with the Minnesota Department of Health and that the district partners with the Institute for Environmental Assessment (IEA) for testing and reporting in facility projects.
Board members asked whether historical radon results were available to compare pre- and post-renovation levels; staff said they would follow up with IEA and provide historical data if available. One board member noted a single Jefferson testing point that was higher than other points but still below the action level, and asked staff to track any localized concerns.
