MPO staff told the board on Oct. 8 that the Kickapoo Tribe submitted personnel changes for MPO representation. The tribe has named Arturo Garza to the MPO Transportation Policy Board and Ervin Garza to the Technical Advisory Committee; Arturo had previously served on the TAC and Rayburn Elizondo is no longer listed as a TAC member.
MPO staff said the change is an administrative update to the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) and that staff will consult the city attorney to determine whether the appointments also require a board resolution at a future meeting.
Ending: Staff said it will incorporate the new names into MPO administrative documents and return to the board with guidance if a resolution or additional formal action is required.
