Elections office authorized to destroy records kept longer than Idaho retention periods

Schultz noted that retention periods vary by record type — some materials are kept five years, some two years, some one year, and certain materials are kept 60 days after the deadline for requesting a recount. The board approved Resolution (as read in the packet) allowing the Elections Office to dispose of the records listed in Exhibit A.
