CRA project update: Cove garage ribbon-cutting Oct. 3; pump station nearly complete, parking-lot designs advance

Cape Coral, Fla. — On Sept. 10 the Community Redevelopment Agency received a status report on capital projects in the CRA that outlined near-term milestones for parking, utilities and waterfront work.
Zach Gogel, CRA project manager, told commissioners the Cove parking garage will hold 125 public spaces and the CRA will hold a ribbon-cutting Oct. 3. Gogel said the garage is equipped with pay stations and QR-code payment capability and that the CRA partnered with the private structure to ensure public parking supply in the downtown core.
