The Davis County Commission on Sept. 2 approved an amendment to its 2025 operating and capital budgets, voted to adjust several property-tax applications under Utah Code Annotated 59-2-1347, and approved a set of routine agreements for the health and sheriff's offices and training contracts. The commission also voted to cancel its regular meeting on Sept. 9 while members attend the UAC conference.
The budget change approved by the commission uses fund balance for additional computer equipment, a real-estate purchase and transfers between departments. Commissioners opened and closed a public hearing on the amendment before approving a resolution to amend the 2025 operating and capital budgets.
