Superintendent warns community to walk bikes at drop-off, reiterates no bikes on turf fields

Wayne said administrators and staff, including Ms. LaChapelle, had been communicating reminders to the community. He described the school year’s start as “excellent” overall and said some grade levels are showing behavior patterns closer to pre-COVID norms.
Committee members did not propose a policy change at the meeting; the superintendent framed the remarks as safety reminders and field-care guidance for families and students. The district did not announce any enforcement changes or new penalties during the discussion.
