- Resolution 25-23: The board adopted amendments to the Development Services fee schedule for inspection services, aligning certain inspection fees with the Arizona Department of Housing schedule; the motion passed 3-0.
- Withdrawals: The board approved withdrawing Cochise County from the Association of Defense Communities and from the Coalition of Arizona and New Mexico Counties (both passed 3-0).
- Upper San Pedro Partnership (USPP): The board voted 3-0 to terminate the intergovernmental agreement with the City of Sierra Vista that authorized joint administration and membership in the USPP, effective Aug. 5, 2025.
- Committee appointments and dues: The board renewed committee and board appointments for supervisors and staff and authorized payment of FY2025-26 dues as presented (passed 3-0).
- Capital projects transfers: The board approved a transfer of $235,528.20 from the County Capital Projects Fund contingency to the Facilities Department for a roof replacement at 1415 W. Melody Lane, Building A, Bisbee (passed 3-0). The board also approved $317,230.23 to replace HVAC units (four ductless mini-splits and 19 gas-pack units) at the juvenile detention/superior court facility in Sierra Vista (passed 3-0).
- Elections Assistance Commission field services program (Resolution 25-26): The board authorized voluntary participation in the U.S. Election Assistance Commission Field Services Program to verify that local voting equipment matches certified systems and to document procedures and security; the motion passed 3-0.
- Treasurer remittance (Resolution 25-25): The board adopted direction to the county treasurer to remit funds collected from taxes levied in common school districts not within a high school district (passed 3-0).
- Grants: The board approved a drug, gang and violent crime control grant (DC-26-021) from the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission for $155,586.18 (07/01/2025–06/30/2026) and a crime victim compensation grant (VC-26-002) for $141,014 (07/01/2025–06/30/2026); both passed 3-0.
Several items included brief staff presentations. Miss McLaughlin described the inspection-fee adjustments; Mister Crowley explained the roof replacement as a lifecycle capital need; Miss Avant described the voluntary EAC Field Services Program and noted the county would be the first in Arizona to participate in that program. County staff and the presenters are expected to carry out implementation steps tied to each approved motion.
