The Health Meadow Special Services District board voted to amend minutes from a prior meeting and to exclude lots 6C and 7C from road and water fee charges, saying the parcels are unbuildable.

Board member (unnamed) moved to amend a prior motion that had treated lots 6C and 7C as buildable and subject to certain fees. Another board member seconded the amendment, and the board approved it by voice vote. The board also confirmed that the lots will continue to be charged “real fees” as applicable, while road and water fees tied to buildability will be removed.

Board members said the parcels were platted before the ski tunnel and subsequent run were constructed, and speakers described the ski run as bisecting those lots in a way that makes road and water access infeasible. Shane (resident/developer) objected earlier to how statements had been sent for road charges; board discussion focused on clarifying whether the previously approved wording excluded the road and water fees. A board member said the county already deems the lots “unbuildable.”

The motion to amend the minutes was recorded with a voice vote in which members answered “Aye.” The board directed staff to note the change in the minutes and to reflect the exclusion of road and water fees when the minutes are revised at the next meeting.

The board also proceeded to approve the June meeting minutes after that amendment.
