PRICE, Utah — The Price City Planning and Zoning Commission approved a conditional use permit and site-plan amendment Aug. 25 to add electric-vehicle charging kiosks at the Taco Bell property at 120 North Carbonville Road.
The permit authorizes six charging stalls — including one Americans with Disabilities Act-accessible stall and one trailer-capable stall — and requires compliance with Price City’s Land Use Management and Development Code and a set of conditions contained in an agreement between the city and applicant Ken Takata. “We are proposing to install 6 chargers. 1 ADA stall, which is for, an accessible use stall, and then a 1 trailer stall,” applicant Ken Takata told the commission.
The commission’s approval included multiple site-specific conditions intended to limit safety, circulation and infrastructure impacts.
