Staff said Weisar will help the district analyze revenue scenarios, develop a long-term financial plan for the recently adopted 70-cent transfer, review salary schedules for competitiveness and equity, and support the finance team during the SUI software transition.
Board members asked that the consultant present findings at several board meetings during the year; staff agreed Weisar would share periodic updates and assist with budget revisions and planning. The motion to approve the contract was made and seconded at the meeting; the board called the question and the item was approved.
