Treasurer Michelle Jensen reviewed the worksheet totals for the general fund and enterprise funds. Council members recited the line‑item totals aloud during the meeting: general fund $737,625; roads $205,000; capital projects $102,963; park impact fees $1,000; road impact fees $9,000; water fund $526,400; sewer fund $410,000; storm sewer $87,000; sanitation fund $190,000; water impact $5,000; sewer impact $10,000. The total the council read was $2,283,988.
A council member moved to adopt the final budget as presented; another seconded. The council then approved the budget by voice vote. The meeting minutes record the vote as an affirmative voice vote from the members present; the council did not identify individual member votes on the record.
The council also discussed a proposed staff pay adjustment in the course of finalizing the numbers. Treasurer Jensen said the city’s fiscal year 2025 activity showed the old school property closing the fiscal year “in the black,” and the council noted that winter utility costs remain a material uncertainty for next year’s projections.
With the vote complete, Mayor Blake Wright declared the meeting adjourned.
