Commissioners voting "yes" on the record included Commissioner Tafoya, Commissioner Cervantes, Commissioner Gutierrez Garcia, Commissioner Castillo and Commissioner Fong; other commissioners on the dais were recorded as voting in support when roll-call was completed.
The commission then elected Commissioner Tafoya as vice chair for a one-year term; the motion passed on a roll-call vote with commissioners responding "yes."
The commission approved the minutes of the April 8, 2025 meeting after a motion and second; the minutes were approved by voice/roll-call vote.
