The Danvers Conservation Commission on Aug. 14 voted to issue a partial certificate of compliance for 30 Sherwood Avenue (DEP file 14‑1429), closing out construction work while leaving special planting conditions (special conditions 12 and 13) outstanding until their required monitoring period is complete.
Kathleen, appearing on behalf of applicant Alex Shook and North Shore Real Estate Solutions, told the commission that the driveway, patio, stormwater management and native landscaping had been completed in accordance with the approved order of conditions and that the property has since been sold. “They have the as builts. Everything has been built in compliance,” Kathleen said. Staff noted two outstanding conditions requiring two growing seasons of successful plantings; the new homeowners were aware and have assumed responsibility for the bond.
Commissioners confirmed the homeowner had arranged for the required bond; staff indicated the bond is held by the new homeowners and will be released to them after the monitoring period is complete. The commission’s motion to issue a partial certificate excluded special conditions 12 and 13; the motion passed by voice vote.
The partial certificate allows administrative closure of all work other than the planting survival requirement. The commission recorded the action under DEP file 14‑1429 and noted the planting monitoring and bond remain as conditions until the two growing seasons are verified by staff.
