Event organizer Erin told the council the event is planned from 8 to 10 a.m., with suggested prices of $10 for adults and $5 for children, and that she proposes adding a quick silent auction this year to raise additional funds for EMS certifications. She said the fort and a regular supplier have agreed to provide food donations and that logistical details are being finalized.
Councilors recommended assigning specific volunteer roles and shifts, preparing a short “playbook” for the day, and using town email and flyers to solicit donations and promote the event. Organizers reported some donated art, pottery and other items already committed and said they will set minimum bids tied to estimated values and, in some cases, accept guaranteed buy‑back donations from contributors.
The council did not take a formal vote; organizers will finalize the schedule, confirm donations, and circulate volunteer assignments before the event.
