The Town of Lakeville Board of Health recorded the following formal outcomes during the meeting:
- Sewage disposal system upgrade for 27 Reservoir Ave: Motion to approve the upgrade design with two local upgrade requests for setbacks to the tributary was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. Outcome: approved.
- New well plan for 12 and 14 Morrison Way: Motion to approve the new well plan with two local upgrade approvals and a requirement that staff send letters to property owners regarding existing system failures and required well testing was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. Outcome: approved; staff to issue owner notifications and require nitrate testing before well use.
- 121 Hackett (advanced treatment/presby system): Motion to deny request #1 (reduction of septic tank/property-line setback from 10 feet to 5 feet) and to approve requests #2–#9 with explicit conditions (protect the drainage swale, replace/repair retaining wall at road if damaged during construction, and verify plumbing cannot be rerouted before issuing final permits) was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. Outcome: approved with conditions; denial of tank/property-line setback request #1.
- Approval of meeting minutes (05/07/2025): Motion to approve May 7, 2025 minutes as typed was made, seconded and approved. Outcome: approved.
- Committee designees: Motion to appoint Bob Pelucci as Board of Health’s designated member to the ZBrAC committee was approved by voice vote (one abstention recorded). Motion to appoint Derek Maxman as the board’s designee to the Town Hall Reuse committee was approved by voice vote (one abstention recorded). Outcomes: both appointments approved.
The board also held a pre-application discussion with the owner of 23 Pond Road about adding a bedroom above a garage (possible increase in flow); no formal vote was taken and staff will consult DEP for Title 5 interpretation.
