Measure E quarterly report: Salinas reports 84% receipts on key tax line, $9.9 million in CIP allocations; streets repairs highlighted

Abe Pedroza, assistant finance director, told the committee that as of June 30 the city's Measure E transaction- and use-tax receipts were showing 84% collected for that line and 86% overall through April due to state payment timing. He said the benchmark for 10 of 12 months is 83%, and investment earnings are exceeding budgeted amounts, leading staff to adjust fiscal-year 2025-26 projections.
