Victoria ISD posts district-wide gains; three campuses earn A in 2025 Texas accountability ratings

At its Aug. 14 meeting, the Victoria Independent School District Board of Trustees received the district’s official 2025 Texas accountability ratings, which district staff said showed broad improvement across campuses and district indicators.
District staff member Tammy Shasta told trustees the district’s overall rating for 2025 is 74 and that three campuses earned an A. She highlighted that the district recorded zero F-rated campuses this year. "We have 0 F's. That is truly a testament to teamwork," Shasta said during her presentation.
The ratings reflect the Texas Education Agency (TEA) A–F accountability framework, which uses multiple domains: student achievement (Domain 1), academic growth (Domain 2a) and relative performance (Domain 2b), with a separate Domain 3 that measures closing achievement gaps.
