The Leavenworth County Planning Commission voted 8-0 to approve a boundary line adjustment for properties at 17208 and 17200 Eisenhower Road, recorded as case DEV-25-076.
Planning staff told commissioners the adjustment addresses an existing accessory structure that was built too close to a property line. The adjustment swaps small areas of land between the north and south parcels so the structure meets setback requirements. During review staff found both parcels used multiple legal descriptions; the request combines those legal descriptions into two lots and requires an exception to the lot depth-to-width standard because the reconfigured parcels would not meet that metric.
Staff provided a written analysis of the required exception criteria in the staff report. Commissioners praised the work done to resolve the setback issue, and the motion to approve the exception passed on a unanimous roll call vote (Marcus Major; Alan Stewart; Robert Owens; Steve [last name inaudible]; Doug Tyson; Daniel Clemens; Jaden Bailey; Joshua Zenger).
