The Oro Valley Town Council on Aug. 13 voted to recommend issuance of a Series 12 restaurant liquor license for Chow Down Pizza, located at 10565 North Oracle Road, Suite 111. The recommendation will go to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for final action.
Town staff reported that the applicant, Kevin Arnold Kramer, submitted required documentation and fees, that the premises were posted for 20 days with no protests received, and that the Oro Valley Police Department completed its standard background check and had no objections. “The Oro Valley Police Department does not have any objections to the issuance of this license,” staff said.
Councilmember Murphy moved approval of the town’s recommendation; the motion passed unanimously.
The council’s action is a recommendation to the state agency; final licensing authority rests with the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.
