Clerk announces reproduced bills, committee notices and agency reports; House adjourns for lack of quorum

The Clerk announced that several bills were reproduced and made available electronically: House bills 4747 through 4760 and Senate bills 486 through 492 and 493 through 495. The Clerk also announced that filing bills were reproduced and made available electronically on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
The Clerk posted committee notices: the House Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Local Transportation was scheduled to meet Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 12:00 p.m. in Room 307 of the House Office Building; the Opioid Advisory Commission was scheduled to meet Thursday, Aug. 14, at 10:00 a.m. in the Legislative Council Conference Room in Boji Tower.
Under communications from state officers, the Clerk announced receipt from the Department of State Police of the 2024 annual report under the Student Safety Act. The Clerk also reported receipt from the Auditor General of two documents: a follow-up copy of the Michigan long-term ombudsman program review (Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, July 2025) and a preliminary survey summary of permitting activities at the Michigan Department of Transportation (2025). The Clerk said the State 911 Committee annual report for calendar year 2024 was also received consistent with section 412 of Public Act 12.
With a lack of a quorum, the Clerk announced there was no further business and the House would stand adjourned until Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
