Board members agreed the session will start at 8:45 a.m. at Leadbetter Campus and that staff would publish the agenda in BoardDocs. The board also planned a casual group photo for the day and discussed a short recess during the lunch period.
Members asked that the agenda include capital facilities updates and the Garver project (arts advisory/capital facilities) and discussed when the board should hold its September briefing and first‑Friday meetings; one member said they could commit to Sept. 5. Staff noted they will produce a short welcome video for staff kickoff rather than a district‑wide board presence at every building given lighter staff schedules this year.
