He said policy includes multiple discount layers — for multi-sibling families, staff, and longstanding residents — that can lower the effective tuition a given family pays. "There are different things. There are staff members, experience a discount as well, have the luxury discount. There's lots of students that have been here. Yeah," the transcript records.
Board members discussed the policy’s intent to keep district tuition competitive as an attraction strategy for enrolling students; Hansen (sic) — in the transcript identified as school business administrator Hastings — said a review could be scheduled if the board wishes to evaluate the rate structure.
