A commissioner moved that the county support the Strengthening Local Food Security Act (Senate), the Local Farms Feeding Our Communities Act (House) and a Farm 2 proposal to increase local purchasing in institutional food programs; another commissioner seconded. After no further discussion the board voted in favor and the motion carried.
