Items approved included resignations, new employment, leaves of absence, changes in assignment, salary adjustments, rescissions and approvals of honoraria, substitutes (certified and noncertified), evaluation tools for 2025‑26, a remote instruction plan, translator/interpreter listings, summer ESY staffing, summer IEP meetings, job description revisions, and numerous summer work and supplemental compensation items as presented.
On finance and contracts, the board approved bills and claims totaling $6,393,221.21, travel and related expenses, transfers and ratifications as listed on the agenda, acceptance of out‑of‑district contracts and transportation arrangements, rescinding and re‑advertising an RFP for Wilson Foundation materials and approving an alternate RFP, acceptance of the reading assessment system RFP, award of the investment manager RFP (OceanFirst Bank), a contract with Core BTS, an amendment to the HD Supply contract, and a resolution to increase the bid threshold for purchases handled by the qualified purchasing agent.
The board also accepted IDEA fiscal year 2026 grant funds, moved funds into maintenance reserve accounts as listed, and approved appropriation of additional 2025‑26 state aid for high‑impact tutoring.
A roll call recorded members voting in favor of the consent agenda. The consent motion carried; staff noted no further action was required beyond execution of approved contracts and filings.
