Trustee Perry moved to accept the teacher agreement; Trustee Helgeland Jackson supported the motion. The board approved the agreement by voice vote.
3) Educational secretaries collective bargaining agreement — The district reached an agreement addressing health insurance, sick-leave language and compensation. Trustee Nordman moved to ratify the secretary agreement; Trustee Johnson supported the motion. The motion passed by voice vote. A trustee noted the contract includes parental/maternity leave language.
4) Paraprofessionals (Better Breed Paraprofessionals Association) agreement — The district reached a tentative agreement that updates insurance, adds evaluations and adjusts compensation. Trustee Hogan Jackson moved to approve the paraprofessionals agreement; Trustee Perry supported the motion. The board approved the motion by voice vote.
