Board schedules committee reviews, announces safety executive session and postpones policy amendment discussion

During board-matters discussion a board member said she would “make a motion to amend policy 4.7” during the regular session; another board member moved to postpone discussion to board matters given limited time and the board agreed to take the item up at a later meeting. No formal vote on a policy amendment occurred during the work session.
The board also discussed employee-suspension insurance coverage and reported staff outreach to Volunteers in Medicine, a local provider that may provide short-term coverage for employees during suspension periods; board members asked staff to bring relevant policy language to the policy committee for review.
