The Council Rock School District board approved the following motions unanimously at its Aug. 21 meeting. Unless noted, votes were recorded as unanimous with one absence (Mister Roosevelt on a family trip).
- Approval of minutes of the July 17, 2025 meeting. Motion moved by Miss Polly, seconded by Miss Stone; recorded as passing unanimously.
- Personnel actions, including the recommendation to hire Dan Bartleson as supervisor of special education. Motion moved by Mister Hidalgo; recorded as passing unanimously.
- Education committee consent agenda items b through h as contained in the attachments to the agenda. Motion moved by Miss Khan; recorded as passing unanimously.
- Policy committee consent agenda items b through j as contained in the attachments to the agenda (policy 207 clarified; policy 255 retired and incorporated into other policies). Motion moved by Miss Snowden; recorded as passing unanimously.
- Facilities committee consent agenda item k and summer project change orders and service agreements (Siemens, Johnson Controls) were recorded as approved. Motion moved and recorded as passing unanimously.
- Finance committee consent agenda items b through k and n, including continuing software agreements, childcare services agreements with Champions, selection of vendors for sensory-room equipment, and selection of BCS for stop‑loss insurance resulting in a projected premium savings of $156,000. Motion moved and recorded as passing unanimously.
Board members noted that many consent items had been discussed at committee meetings in advance of the board meeting. The public record shows the motions were recorded as unanimous votes by the board secretary.
