Board approves minutes, enters confidential session and adopts consent agenda covering items 7.1'11.19

At the start of the meeting the board approved minutes for agenda items 2.1 through 2.4, met in confidential session, and later approved a consent agenda covering items 7.1 through 11.19.

Minutes approval: Miss Figuereira moved to approve minutes 2.1 through 2.4; an unidentified board member seconded. The roll call recorded unanimous approval by the board members present.

Confidential session: The board took a motion to move into confidential session for "discussion [of] negotiation personnel matters of client-attorney privilege, pending or anticipated litigation, confidential people matters, and real estate matters," and approved the motion. The board recessed into confidential session and later returned to open session; no confidential details were disclosed in open session.

Consent agenda: The superintendent recommended approval of action items 7.1 through 11.19. Dr. Giordano moved the consent agenda; a board member seconded. On roll call, all voting members recorded yes votes except that Miss O'Neil said she would "abstain from anything for Christian, Humphrey, or special education." The board recorded the motion as approved.

Adjournment: The board then closed public comment, had no old or new business to report, and voted to adjourn.
