Plan commission grants six-month extension for Chutes Container Systems certified survey map recording

The Kenosha City Plan Commission approved Thursday a mayoral resolution amending condition number 14 of Resolution 0425 to grant a six-month extension for recording a two-lot certified survey map for property associated with Chutes Container Systems, north of 40 Sixth Street.
Staff said the applicant requested the extension to allow time to complete a required developer's agreement, which city staff and the applicant—s attorney were finalizing. Staff recommended approval of the extension subject to the original conditions of approval and said a small number of CSM cleanups remain before recording.
No members of the public spoke during the public hearing. A motion to approve the extension passed by voice vote with the chair voting aye; no opposed votes were recorded on the transcript.
Staff said the extension is intended to provide time for the parties to finalize the developer—s agreement and cleanup items on the CSM so the map can be recorded within the extended period.
