District treasurer's reports for June and July 2025 were presented and approved by the Camdenton R-III board on Aug. 11. The treasurer said July 2025 ending balances were higher than July 2024, in part because of an insurance timing matter that increased fund balances in the latest fiscal-year reporting.
The financial summary presented an ending fund-balance percentage of 47.29% for combined funds and listed fund balances and recent transfers the administration recommended to build Fund 4 for upcoming capital and FEMA projects. Administrators told the board they anticipate approximately $12 million in capital work over two years (FEMA plus other capital projects) and emphasized the district will pay upfront and submit claims for FEMA reimbursement.
The board moved to approve the June 2025 revised and July 2025 treasurer's reports as submitted.
Separately, the board approved the district assessment plan as presented. Administrators said there were no new types of assessments added this year (the most recent addition last year had been a gifted test across second grade). The administration noted work that will follow in the next year on test-management procedures (storage, handling and disposal of paper tests) and confirmed that special-education processes for parent consent and documentation will continue to be followed.
