Staff said the parking-lot property is intended to be conveyed to the city in the coming months.
The committee voted to approve the president executing the city's portion of the agreement and provided five signature copies for execution. The action was presented by city staff; directors on the dais moved and concurred with the recommendation.
Officials said the agreement is intended to ensure staging and storage are coordinated while clarifying ownership and responsibilities among Grimmer, Franciscan, the redevelopment commission and the city. No additional funding or permits were described at the meeting.
The committee did not set further conditions during the meeting; staff will circulate the executed agreement to the parties.
