Commissioners asked about warranty length (three years) and funding plans; IT staff said they would present the purchase request to county council on Aug. 12 to cover costs.
A motion to approve the recommendation and forward it to the council passed; commissioners added the requirement that funds be identified and brought back before signing any final purchase commitments.
The board directed IT staff to return with the specific appropriation plan prior to execution of contracts or purchase orders.
