- Fourth-quarter 2024 write-off for Berryland, Northlawn and Southlawn: $136,909.47. Same reporting period and collection protocols as above. Roll call produced the same pattern: Snyder abstained; other commissioners voted Aye. Outcome: approved (6 yes, 0 no, 1 abstain).
- Sale of a scattered‑site single‑family unit at 3156 North 20 Fourth Place to AHA 1 LLC (a subsidiary of Axe Housing) for $1,000. The authority reported the vacant house has been boarded since 2017 and requires more than $100,000 in rehab; the sale includes a deed restriction requiring resale to a household at or below 80% of area median income and a five‑year reversionary clause. Roll call: unanimous Aye. Outcome: approved.
- Motion to convene in closed session under Wisconsin Stat. § 19.85(1)(g) to consult with counsel regarding litigation strategy: motion carried by roll call (unanimous). The board subsequently reconvened in open session and closed the matter on the public docket.
- Adoption of the revised conflict-of-interest policy (see separate story): roll call — unanimous Aye. Outcome: approved.
Several items were approved earlier by voice/roll call as part of a consent agenda that passed at the start of the meeting. Where the resolution text noted that debts are written off for accounting purposes only, HACM staff said the city attorney will still seek judgments for tenants evicted in court and may refer unpaid accounts to the Department of Revenue for tax intercept.
