A county official replied that the resolution scheduled for the Aug. 25 agenda covers only townships whose trustees sent a formal resolution requesting restrictions; Cardington Township had not submitted such a resolution, the official said.
Graham also spoke in favor of property‑owner rights and described personal positive experience with rooftop solar at a family property in Arizona, while noting concerns about future electric‑grid demand and how the county should plan for future energy needs. He said the petitions and his visits were intended to inform his perspective rather than to demand immediate county action.
No formal county action resulted from Graham’s comments; commissioners acknowledged his remarks and the speaker left the meeting after taking questions.
