Michigan House adopts several ceremonial resolutions; two contested bills fail close roll-call votes

The Michigan House of Representatives on the floor adopted multiple ceremonial resolutions and advanced a large slate of bills to third reading, while two contested measures failed on recorded roll-call votes after floor debate and amendments.

Representative Longjohn, who introduced House Resolution 146, led the chamber in adopting a resolution declaring August 2025 as National Health Center Week.
