Interim Finance Director Stephanie Kimball said the new payroll and accounting specialist, Heather Boyce, started June 30 and is "doing a great job" while learning quickly. The department also offered the purchasing coordinator position to a candidate who will begin work July 28.
Kimball said auditors had been on-site for two weeks and the fiscal year 2024 audit is nearly complete; auditors have started work on fiscal year 2025. She also said the department has moved to City Hall and staff are unpacking and organizing operations.
