Grass Valley staff and county partners reported on July 22 that a coordinated cleanup and fuels-reduction effort at the future Dorsey Marketplace has removed camps, reduced fire fuels and placed people into housing.
Sergeant Clint, speaking for city public safety staff, said crews identified about 18 to 20 active camps on a roughly 28-acre property and that “with Measure B, we were able to…the property's 28 acres.
