WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee City Council voted Monday to approve three routine but consequential items: a five-year interlocal agreement with Chelan County for the Wenatchee Valley Regional Decamp Facility, adoption of an amended franchise ordinance with Public Utility District No. 1 of Chelan County, and consent items that included final acceptance of the Miller Street signal project and an appointment to the Code Enforcement Board.
The consent package was moved by Council Member Hornby and seconded by Council Member Cuevas. The motion approved the agenda, vouchers and minutes from previous meetings, accepted work completed by contractor Midland Electric on the Miller Street Signal Project (City Project Number SW23-10), authorized the mayor to sign the final contract voucher, and approved Resolution No. 2025-37 appointing Geraldine Britton as a voting member of the Code Enforcement Board.
