Planning commission approves 150-foot monopole cell tower in Kettleman City

The Kings County Planning Commission unanimously approved Conditional Use Permit 25-02 to establish a 150-foot monopole cell tower at 27031 Omaha Avenue in Kettleman City, the county’s Community Development Agency reported to the Board of Supervisors on Aug. 5.
Chuck Kenny, speaking for the Community Development Agency, said there were no objections at the planning commission hearing and the commission approved the project unanimously. The county provided the assessor parcel number in its report as 036-120-033.
Kenny noted the planning commission’s action in his report to the board; no board-level vote was reported because the item was a planning commission decision. Board members approved acceptance of the report by roll call.
