He said he has sought legal counsel regarding the anonymous authorship of some complaints and that the episode has led him to say he will not pursue high‑school coaching again.
“I was given an offer to become your next girl's head volleyball coach on May 27... I got all those clearances in a matter of days... only to be called by the AD on June 4 until the offer was being pulled,” Elliott said in his remarks.
Superintendent Dr. Hesse told Elliott she would follow up after the meeting.
