LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles City Council voted on Aug. 12, 2025 to approve a large group of consent items, to adopt an amended version of agenda item 70 and to authorize a series of legal settlements read during closed session.
The council adopted dozens of routine and noncontroversial matters by voice vote with 14 members recorded in favor. The actions included a multi-item consent vote covering a long list of agenda items on the day's docket and separate adoption of items that required public hearing earlier in the meeting. A substitute motion to change the fiscal year referenced in item 70 to fiscal year 2025-26 also passed 14-0.
