At its July 30 meeting Broadwater County commissioners amended two previously approved claims to correct amounts, approved several additional claims, and approved an Amendment 4 to a DNRC grant for the Big Elk Divide (Bedrock) Restoration Committee.
The commission amended a prior claim listed as $13,817.80 to $13,876.80 and amended another prior claim from $20,406.94 to $20,465.94. Commissioners then approved claims in the amounts of $9,978.06, $18,316.50 and $123,214.34.
Separately, county staff said the Big Elk Divide Restoration Committee (referred to as Bedrock) applied for and received a $10,000 grant from the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) with a $1,000 local match. County staff explained the county’s role is as a pass-through administrator for the grant and that county staff will provide administrative assistance to the group.
A motion to approve Amendment 4 to grant agreement LGA-21-002 for the Big Elk Divide Restoration Committee (Bedrock) for $10,000 was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
