Nia presented the request, explaining the scope follows the structural capital repair report presented to the board earlier in the year. The scope includes production of construction documents and construction administration; the city of Tulsa’s engineering services will lead bidding and inspection, and staff will return to the board with a recommendation for a contractor once bids are received.
The $79,500 professional-services fee will be drawn down from an already-approved $2,500,000 budget amendment for parking repairs. Wallace Design has participated in prior cycles and carries background knowledge of the garages; staff said Wallace expects to complete repair documents by November. Trustees approved the contract by roll call.
