Design work will show a more detailed layout of structures, a proposed replacement or removal of the Lytle House to create a rentable public facility for classes and events, and parking and kayak-launch considerations. Staff said programmatic revenues (rentals, classes, event fees) could offset some operating costs, but that they do not expect revenue from rentals to fully pay for construction.
Staff encouraged board attendance at the open house and noted consultants are continuing schematic work through December.
