Board members and public speakers spent more than three hours weighing whether to replicate the event in its current volunteer-led form, hire a professional airshow management company, or adopt a hybrid model. The board did not approve an airshow contract tonight; instead members asked staff to bring proposals and cost breakdowns for the airshow component from both the existing volunteer committee and a professional firm to inform a decision next month.
