At a public hearing on Oct. 22 the Edina City Council approved a new on‑sale intoxicating and Sunday‑sale liquor license for 3945 Market LLC, doing business as Therese, a French restaurant planned for the former Lind Hall space.
Clerk Sharon Allison told the council the required background checks had been completed and staff recommended approval without holding the public hearing over to a later date. Applicant Daniel Del Prado described the concept as a modern French restaurant offering brunch, lunch and dinner in a 90‑seat space with a bar and a music/Hi‑Fi listening component. Del Prado noted the kitchen would be all-electric and that he was preparing menus for multiple service periods.
The council opened public testimony; no members of the public objected. Member Jackson moved approval; Member Agnew seconded. The motion passed by voice vote and the clerk was instructed to issue the license.
